結他維修日誌 #406 「Ultra Tonic拾音器安裝工具」

由於拾音器需要準確對正下弦枕（saddle）嘅正下方位置，所以我哋根據官方指示做咗一個工具，用嚟幫手安裝Ultra Tonic拾音器。

呢個工具由三塊磁石組成，固定喺一塊木塊上面。首先，輕輕咁用黏土將Ultra Tonic嘅長條形拾音器黐喺呢個工具上面，將佢哋放喺琴身內saddle下方位置（圖一）。然後，喺琴橋上方放兩粒磁石，透過磁力將長條形拾音器對準saddle嘅位置（圖二）。最後，拎走工具，用力撳住拾音器，確保佢黐實就搞掂喇～

p.s. 值得一提嘅係，James May Engineering亦推出咗一個專為K&K Pure Mini拾音器而設嘅改裝套裝。呢個套裝將Ultra Tonic嘅電路板、迴響消除感應器、音量控制器同Pure Mini結合，提升咗Pure Mini拾音器嘅功能。

Guitar Repair Diary #406 "A jig for installing The Ultra Tonic”

Due to the need for accurate alignment of the pickup directly below the saddle, we have created a tool based on the official instruction from James May Engineering to assist in the installation of the Ultra Tonic pickup.

This tool consists of three magnetic pieces fixed onto a wooden block. First, gently attach the strip-shaped Ultra Tonic pickup onto the tool using clay, and place them underneath the saddle inside the guitar body (see Figure 1). Then, place two magnets above the bridge to align the strip-shaped pickup with the position of the saddle using magnetic force (see Figure 2). Finally, remove the tool and firmly press the pickup to ensure it is securely attached.

p.s. It's worth mentioning that James May Engineering has also introduced a modification kit specifically designed for the K&K Pure Mini pickup. This kit combines the circuit board, feedback elimination sensor, volume controller from the Ultra Tonic with the Pure Mini pickup, enhancing the functionality of the Pure Mini pickup.
