Sanding the bridge to lower the action is not complicated, but it requires attention to many details in the repair.

Aspects such as the bridge thickness, its original shape, the smoothness of the sanding surface, and the size of the string pin holes all need to be carefully adjusted by hand in order to achieve optimal conditions.

It's really more complex than it seems.
