The refretting guitar neck featured in the previous two posts is the neck of a 1963 Fender Stratocaster.

The stamped date '2DEC63B' indicates the following details:

2: Produced between 1962 and 1965, featuring a smaller guitar head,

DEC: Manufactured in December,

63: Produced in the year 1963,

B: Neck width of 1.625 inches.

After 60 years of history, the naturally worn-off nitro lacquer on this guitar is highly coveted by collectors. Its rare deep blue color makes it even more precious.
